ETSI WB-AMR
The ETSI Adaptive Multi-Rate Wideband (WB-AMR) speech codec belongs to the ACELP family of speech coders. WB-AMR operates at nine different bit rates from 6.60 kbps to 23.85 kbps. The codec is fully compliant with the ITU-T G.722.2 specification. Discontinuous transmission (DTX) functionality and Voice Activity Detection (VAD) are supported by the standard. The codec operates on speech frames of 20ms (320 samples).
