MPEG AAC LC Decoder

Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) has been standardised by ISO and IEC, as part of the MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 specifications. The low complexity audio codec (AAC-LC) provides good sound quality at low bit-rates.

The ESPICO implementations have been optimised for low memory and MHz requirements allowing low power applications to be realised. Contact ESPICO for specific resource requirements.

• Decodes MPEG2 (ISO/IEC 13818-7) & MPEG4 (ISO/IEC 14496-3) audio bitstreams
• Conforms to ISO/IEC 13818-4:1998/Amd1:1999 and ISO.IEC 13818-4:2004 and ISO/IEC 14496-4:2000
• Supports mono, stereo, 5.1 and 7.1 channels
