ITU G.722
ITU-T recommendation G.722 is a 7 kHz wideband speech codec operating at 48, 56 and 64 kbit/s. The codec is based on Sub-Band Adaptive Differential Pulse Code Modulation (SB-ADPCM). Data is sampled at 16 kHz using 14 bits, resulting in superior audio quality to traditional telephony interfaces.
